Coaching

WoW Coaching — Professional Training for Every Class & Specialization

What Is WoW Coaching?

WoW coaching is a 1-on-1 training session with an experienced player who reviews your gameplay and shows you how to improve it — your talent build, rotation, defensive usage, positioning, and decision-making. Unlike a boost, nobody plays your character for you: you stay in the driver's seat, and the session is built entirely around closing the gaps in your own play.

RaidLine's coaches are experienced raiders, arena players, esports professionals, and mentors with strong PvE and PvP track records. Some are well-known content creators who understand class mechanics at a deep level and can explain the "why" behind every recommendation, not just the "what."

PvE Coaching vs. PvP Coaching — What's the Difference?

PvE coaching focuses on raid and Mythic+ performance: boss mechanics, positioning, cooldown timing, and getting the most out of your rotation against a predictable encounter. PvP coaching focuses on Arena and Rated Battlegrounds: reading opponents, cooldown trading, target selection, and adapting your build to a fight that pushes back.

The two skill sets overlap but aren't identical, so pick the coaching type that matches your current goal — clearing a progression boss, timing a higher Mythic+ key, or climbing your Arena rating — and your coach will tailor the session around it.

How a Coaching Session Works

Sessions run live over voice chat on Discord (other platforms can be arranged on request): you play your character while your coach watches, comments in real time, and corrects mistakes as they happen. VOD review — where your coach analyzes a recording of a run you already played — is also available for players who'd rather break down a specific pull or set of logs.

Many players combine both formats: a VOD review to identify the recurring issue, followed by a live session to fix it in practice.

What You'll Learn, by Role

Coaching is tailored to your role, since a DPS, tank, and healer are all solving different problems in the same fight. Here's what each role's sessions typically focus on:

What's Covered in Every Session

Every coaching session is built around your character and your goals, but most sessions touch on the same core fundamentals before moving into class-specific detail.

• Interface and keybinds: optimizing your UI and button layout so nothing slows down your reaction time.
• Addons: which addons actually help your class and role, and how to configure them correctly.
• Talents and builds: the right talent tree setup for your current content, explained rather than just handed to you.
• Macros and rotation: tightening your rotation, resource usage, and cooldown sequencing.
• Encounter and Arena knowledge: boss mechanics and Mythic+ routes for PvE, or cooldown trading and target priority for PvP.

Group & Guild Coaching

Coaching isn't limited to a single player. A coach — or a small coaching team for larger groups — can work with your full raid roster on group execution, callouts, raid-leading, and encounter-specific preparation. This is common for guilds pushing into Mythic raiding or stuck on a specific progression wall together.

Guild and raid-team coaching is arranged as a custom order — contact us with your roster size and current progress and we'll put together a session plan.

Is WoW Coaching Against the Rules?

Coaching is educational: your coach watches and advises while you play, or reviews a recording with you afterward. Nobody else logs into your account, and no in-game gold or items change hands as part of the service — which is a meaningfully different situation from account-sharing or boosting. We don't offer legal advice on Blizzard's Terms of Service, so if this matters to you, we'd encourage reading their current terms directly.
