Normal - New or Levelling Characters
The quickest route to a usable item level on a character that has little to no current-season gear yet. Ideal for a fresh alt or a character just stepping into endgame.
Heroic (HC) - Solid, Well-Rounded Gear
The middle tier most players settle into once they've cleared the Normal item-level floor - a meaningful upgrade without needing Mythic-level execution.
Mythic - The Ceiling Below Mythic+
