Rasha'nan
A guide to killing the Rasha'nan boss from the Nerub-ar Palace raid. This guide is made for those who are into raids. Read to learn tactics, positioning, timings, and secret techniques. This information will 100% increase your chances of defeating the boss on normal, heroic, and mythic difficulty

General Information:
- At the start of the battle, the boss will have 60% health.
- Against this boss, choose talents to fight a single enemy.
- Sometimes small mobs will appear.
- Use Heroism (BC) and damage boosting potions from the first seconds of the fight.
- Classes with the “Execution” ability are especially effective on this boss.
It seems that you will have to run a lot, but paradoxically, it is better to avoid unnecessary movements.
Tactics (briefly):
- White - move away from the raid members.
- Green - place on both sides of the raid group.
- Kill small mobs with AoE attacks and cleaves.
- During the transition phase, catch up to the boss and interrupt his spellcasting. Then build up and continue attacking.
Positioning:
- Group up - this positioning will make it easier to fight the boss.
- The boss sometimes pushes characters away, so try not to fall into the abyss.

Tips for players
For Tanks:
- Tanks swap between themselves after a single Savage Assault hit. Actively use defensive abilities to reduce the damage from the negative effect (“Dot”) after the hit.
- Prepare acceleration for the transition phase to catch up to the boss quickly.
For Healers:
- Before the transition phase, the boss casts negative effects on raid members. Heal the raid members and prepare to heal while running.
Druid and Shaman are good during this transition phase.
For DPS:
- During the transition phase, use personal defense and acceleration abilities, as well as abilities that remove the effects of slowing.
Lifehacks:
- During the transition phase, use portals and any available means to help you get to the boss as quickly as possible.
- Ranged players are advised to position themselves closer to melee players. This will make it easier to interact with mechanics and ensure more efficient completion of tasks.
