How to Transfer Gold to Another Server in World of Warcraft [Guide]

In the current version of World of Warcraft, transferring gold from one realm to another has become much easier. Let’s review a few available methods:

1. Transferring Gold Within One Account

If you need to transfer gold between characters on the same account, you can use the Warband bank. This bank is accessible to all characters on your account, regardless of server or faction.

How it works:

1. Deposit gold into the Warband bank using one character on one server.
2. Log in with another character on a different server and withdraw the gold from the Warband bank.

Important: The character’s faction does not matter — gold is available to all your characters on the account.

2. Transferring Gold Between Different Accounts

If you need to transfer gold to another player, follow these instructions:

Transferring Gold Between Same-Faction Characters:

1. Invite the other character to a group.
2. Meet up in the same location.
3. Ensure you have the same PvE or PvP mode enabled. If modes differ, characters will be in different layers and won’t see each other.
4. Trade gold using the trade window.

Transferring Gold Between Opposing Factions:

1. Add the other character as a friend via BattleTag.
2. Group up and enter a dungeon or raid (you can use the group finder tool to speed up meeting the characters).

3. Gold Transfer in Classic Versions
