Deck Dismay

A detailed guide to completing the quest

To begin the quest:

1. Activate the Idol of Ohn'ahra.

2. Find and pick up one of the cards that are scattered around the WoW 20th Anniversary Celebration area at the following coordinates:

   • /way #71 61.23, 50.84
   • /way #71 62.15, 49.33
   • /way #71 63.27, 52.26
   • /way #71 61.90, 51.61
   • /way #71 63.78, 51.90
   • /way #71 63.58, 50.99
   • /way #71 63.41, 48.98
   • /way #71 63.19, 49.34
   • /way #71 63.98, 51.52
   • /way #71 63.00, 50.21

3. After picking up the card, go to Alyx at the coordinates: /way #71 63.03, 50.24 and talk to her. After picking up the card, Alyx will have a new dialog window that will start the quest.

4. Alyx will direct you to Alphonse Constant (/way #71 63.87, 52.39). He will give you the quest “Deck Dismay” and instruct you to find the remaining cards.

5. Visit each location and pick up a card. The Idol of Ohn'ahra must be activated to do this. Each card you find earns +10% to the quest progress.

Notes:

1. Starting with the card next to Alyx:
   Many players follow guides that recommend starting with the card lying next to Alyx. However, this is optional (sometimes this card is not visible):

   • You may have picked up this card before and forgotten about it.
   • There is a bug in the game that may cause the card near Alyx to be missing (it will appear later as you complete the quest​​​​​​​).

2. The cards may be invisible:
   Sometimes the cards in the list will also not show up. This is a known bug of the game. In such cases, first collect the cards that you can see immediately, and after that re-visit the listed coordinates to find the missing cards.

Recommendation:

To take a mission, find at least one card from the list. Then visit the remaining coordinates and collect cards until you have gained full progress (100%).
