Detailed Description of the Item's Appearance

The magical altar is a multi-tiered stone structure composed of eight massive blocks and a large purple circle at its center. At the top of the structure, there is a small crystal.

Visually, the altar stands out due to its active magical animation effects: purple energy streams continuously circulate around the structure, creating a dynamic glow. The blue crystal at the top serves as the main light source. Additional visual effects include sparkling particles and glowing runes engraved on the floor surface.

The altar is located inside a temple featuring characteristic architecture made of golden-brown stone. The surrounding environment emphasizes the importance of the object through large-scale columns and high vaulted ceilings. The color palette is based on the contrast between the warm tones of the stonework and the cool magical glow.

When It Was Added to the Game

The item was added in World of Warcraft: The War Within in patch 11.2.0.

What It's Used For

This altar is required to complete the quest “Compromised Containment”.

Where It's Located

The item is located inside one of the buildings in the new zone Tazavesh, the Veiled Market (WoW: TWW).

How to Find It

To find the altar, approach one of the two doors — it doesn’t matter which one you choose, as both lead to the required room. Door coordinates:

• /way 53.78, 45.03

• /way 56.13, 53.42

Once you reach one of these points, you’ll see large doors in front of you. Click on them — they will open. Enter the hall, and in the center of the main room you’ll find the magical altar at coordinates: /way 59.52, 46.94. It will be floating in the air at a low height from the floor — low enough to approach and interact with it.
