Tindral Sageswift, Seer of the Flame Guide + Tactics

Tindral is a druid who uses fire magic and is the penultimate (eighth) boss of the raid, Amirdrassil, the Dream's Hope.

General information:

  • For fighting this boss, it is wise to choose talents for fighting a single enemy.
  • Bloodlust (Heroism) - best used at the beginning of combat, or during the third phase of combat.
  • There will be three main phases and two transitional phases when fighting this boss.
  • Normal / Heroic: flying dragons inside the battle during transitional phases.
    Mythic: dragon flights will be in the main and transitional phases of battle.

A brief description of the battle process:

  • The main boss abilities are the same in all phases of the battle.
  • The additional abilities in the phases are different:
    Stage One - additionally Moonkin.
    Stage Two - additionally Treant.
    Stage Three - the boss uses both forms.

Stage One: Moonkin of the Flame

General abilities

Searing Wrath (Tank) The boss strikes in melee, causing a negative effect with periodic damage. The duration of the debuff is 20 seconds (cumulative). Tanks must swap between each other when gaining 7-8 effects of this debuff.
Blazing Mushroom (Tank) For 9 seconds, a fire mushroom appears around the boss every 3 seconds. The mushroom bursts into flames 3 seconds after it appears, dealing high physical and medium magic damage in its radius. Additionally, it increases by +500% the damage that the character will receive the next time he comes into contact with the mushroom (duration of the effect is 3 seconds).
In the event that Blazing Mushroom failed to damage any characters, it explodes, dealing 382k damage to each raid member.
Small puddles that the tanks must cover one by one.
It is applied on a timer with roots, so the first released tank should overlap, and then the tanks alternate.
All other members of the raid must not come into contact with these puddles.
Wild Mushrooms Mythic: (Tank) The boss is creating an environment around him Blazing Mushroom and Poisonous Mushrooms. Additional harmful mushrooms will appear during the battle.
Poisonous Mushrooms The mechanics of this ability are similar to the principle of Blazing Mushroom.
When Poisonous Mushrooms fails to deal damage to any character, it explodes, inflicting a negative periodic damage debuff with a 10 second duration on all raid members. It deals a total of 274k poison damage.
The principle of action with this type of mushroom is completely similar to the Blazing Mushroom ability.
Fiery Growth The boss inflicts a twenty second periodic damage debuff (124k damage per second) on three random characters. When the debuff dissipates, a puddle appears under the character's feet.
Mythic: When Fiery Growth is dispelled, Lingering Cinder is applied to the character.
Characters affected by this debuff move to the edge (away from other raid members) and wait for a dispel spell on command.
Applied at the same time as the roots.
Lingering Cinder Mythic: A debuff applied to a character after dispelling Fiery Growth.
Deals 167k damage per second for two seconds (cumulative).
If the character receives an additional effect, then the damage dealt by the next Lingering Cinder ability will increase by 5000% for each debuff.
It is recommended to use a personal defense ability before the effect dissipates.
Do not disperse in a row, wait for it to subside.
Scorching Ground Puddles appearing after debuff dispel. Don't stand in puddles.
Falling Star A star falls from the sky onto a character, dealing damage to all characters within 15 meters of where it fell.
After the Falling Star falls, Star Fragments appear.
Big puddles on the characters.
Need to move away from allies.
Star Fragments These are shards from Falling Star, dealing damage in a 6 meter radius. It's necessary to dodge.
Mass Entanglement The boss braids a character with a vine. Characters within a 3 meter radius take damage.
Mythic: If the roots are removed by a character's ability (Hand of Freedom or similar) rather than by destruction, then Treant appears and deals AoE damage to all members of the raid.
Red rings under the players' feet, you need to converge compactly (you can even become 2 characters per ring).
Normal / Heroic: can be removed with class abilities (Hand of Freedom or similar).
Mythic: Break roots with damage only, do not try to remove with class abilities.
Prioritize shooting from tanks so that tanks can overlap mushrooms (applied on a timer).
Also, prioritize picking off players susceptible to Fiery Growth.
Flame Surge Deals damage to characters standing on the edge of the platform (415k each second). Most likely to keep puddles from spilling over the edges.

Additional abilities:

Searing Moonkin Form The boss transforms into Searing Moonkin Form. The boss gains additional abilities by transforming into Searing Moonkin Form.
Sunflame The boss attacks characters with his Sunflame ability, which is a magic attack that deals 60k damage every 2 seconds for 12 seconds. It is necessary to heal affected players quickly.
The standard abilities are enough to heal characters susceptible to the boss' magical attacks.
If you can't heal with standard abilities then you can use powerful personal or mass defense abilities.
Fire Beam The boss fires beams at the platform, dealing 1.4M damage. The radius of effect is 15 meters from where it lands. Additionally, moving beams are generated, dealing 810k damage to characters in the area of effect.
Heroic / Mythic: Once dropped, it creates additional rays of light.
Two large puddles, from which two waves of rays subsequently burst out.
Contact must be avoided (dodge).
The rays are very high, when flying dragons avoid contact with the rays.
Flaring Owl Form The boss transforms into Flaring Owl Form. Allows characters to climb on their dragons (mounts).
Boss drops 4 Flare Bomb on the platform.
Flare Bomb Mythic: Flare Bomb fall rapidly from the sky onto the platform, dealing 2M damage to characters upon reaching the platform
Flying a dragon through the Flare Bomb, the character absorbs the bomb while taking 81k damage. In addition, the character receives a 1 minute debuff that increases the damage received from the next Flare Bomb by 1000%.
Also, after absorbing Flare Bomb, characters are subjected to the Empowering Flame boss ability.
After the boss turns into Flaring Owl Form, the four players need to pick up 4 feathers and fly their dragons upwards while flying through the Flare Bomb.
You must use your torso to land Flare Bomb on the ground. You can land in the roots to give them extra damage. Alternate players. Mechanics 2 times per phase. 4 feathers always appear closer to the tail of the boss. Can overlap with the mushroom (should be enough time to pick up a feather).
Empowering Flame As soon as the character lands, an explosion occurs, dealing 519k damage to all players and hostile NPCs within a 10 meter radius. This damage affects anyone in the blast's impact center. With Empowering Flame, players can deal damage to Root and Treant.

Intermission: Burning Pursuit

The boss transforms into Flaring Owl Form, and flies away after the transformation.
Dream Essence Flight during which characters are enhanced.
Increases the damage dealt by all raid members by +5% (cumulative effect).
The absorbed essence leaves behind Emerald Gale.
Green-colored spheres floating in the air along the path of movement. They have a mass effect.
If one player picks up an orb, then all raid members will receive +5% damage. The maximum number of simultaneous effects is 10 effects (+50% damage) for each raid member.
It is recommended to stay in the air until the maximum number of effects is reached in order to 100% penetrate the shield.
Emerald Gale Pushes the character forward for 3 seconds while restoring 1 unit of vigor. After absorbing the green sphere, Emerald Gale appears (as during local quests).
Transforming into Flaring Owl Form.
Empowered Feather After embodying a boss in​​​​​​​ Flaring Owl Form, Empowered Feather drops out.
Allows players to saddle their dragons.
Many feathers appear on the ground.
A player must approach​​​​​​​ Empowered Feather and press the "Interactions" button to get a buff that allows them to summon a mount.
After getting this effect, quickly get on the mount and fly to the next platform.
Typhoon The boss begins to flap his wings rapidly, throwing characters away in the process, and after 2.5 seconds,​​​​​​​ Typhoon appears, dealing 249k damage to characters. When the boss flies off the platform, it creates gusts of wind pushing characters away.
Players must resist.
Scorching Plume A scorching plume that deals 249k damage while taking 3 vigor. The players' job is to dodge.
Boss ability:
Supernova The boss summons a dying sun and blasts it, dealing 4M damage.
The spell is interrupted after the absorbing shield on the boss is broken.
The boss is already standing on the other platform and casting the​​​​​​​ Supernova ability (it's an explosion).
The players' task is to break through the shield and interrupt the boss from casting this spell.
If you collect 10 enhancement effects from the green spheres, then you will have no problem destroying the shield.

Burning Treant Form The boss transforms into Burning Treant Form. The boss gains new abilities, the principle and mechanics of which are described below.
Suppressive Ember Surrounds the character while absorbing the next 102k of healing (cumulative effect).  
Flaming Germination The boss releases​​​​​​​ Seed of Flame, setting the platform on fire in the process.
Characters take 35k damage every second for 15 seconds.
 
Seed of Flame A fire seed that turns into a​​​​​​​ Flaming Tree 10 seconds after appearing.
The seed will only be destroyed if the character steps on it. Deals 33k damage to the character on contact.
Heroic / Mythic: Stacks the damage taken from​​​​​​​ Seed of Flame at +50% for 6 seconds.
The boss lands a lot of​​​​​​​ Seed of Flame, which must be destroyed. In order to destroy the​​​​​​​ Seed of Flame players must run through them.
Each player destroys 4-5 Seed of Flame (no more). Only tanks or characters with 100% immunity to damage can destroy more than 4-5 pieces.
Missing (not set) Seed of Flame, turns into a Flaming Tree.
Flaming Tree 10 seconds after​​​​​​​ Seed of Flame appears, it turns into a Flaming Tree. The resulting​​​​​​​ Flaming Tree deals 44k damage to characters every 2 seconds for 6 seconds. Don't miss​​​​​​​ Seed of Flame (crush all​​​​​​​ Seed of Flame, that appear during the battle).

General comments on tactics:

For Tanks:

  • Swapping between the main tank and the second tank is done on 7-8​​​​​​​ Searing Wrath effects.
  • Mythic: Mushrooms always appear in pairs in a square shape.
    Tank "A" overlaps: red, green, red, green.
    Tank "B" overlaps: green, red, green, red.
    Heroic: In this difficulty mode, tanks crush mushrooms one by one.

For Healers:

  • Do not dispel debuffs from players randomly. It is desirable that characters take debuffs to the edge of the platform and only then healers dispel debuffs.
    Mythic: You must wait 2 seconds between dispelling debuffs.

For DPS:

  • Try to carry debuffs to the edge of the platform and wait for the healers to remove them from your character.

Useful little tricks:

  • On the platform, it is recommended to move in such a way that by the start of the transition phase, all members of the raid are on the side where the boss will fly to the next platform.
  • Heroic: The character can run through all mushrooms on their own while under the effect of abilities that ignore damage. These abilities include​​​​​​​ Divine Shield for paladins, as well as abilities with the same type of action for other classes.
